    Hey everybody, a much-needed update is in order. First, I apologize from going AWOL for a long time. A lot of things have happened since I've last updated and I'll admit my motivation for the project has dropped immensely.     I'm starting on migrating over to FEBuilder from FEditor and picking up things as I go. Before I get into the hacking portion, I want to work on the world building and plot of the hack first because I felt that it needs to be built more in order to have a solid story. I think that's part of the reason why I kept getting stuck with the hack. Every time I felt like going back to it, I look at my notes and see where I left off, and then I'd lose that motivation immediately and drop it again for a bit. I know it's not fair for everyone that you have to wait for such a damn long time for me to release something, but I just felt that I can't release it till I feel it's ready.

    I would like to ask for help on it, but I feel that because I've been away for so long, it wouldn't be fair to those who offer help either. I could lose that motivation again and be on another long hiatus and I don't want your efforts to go to waste. I do appreciate the help I've received in the past and those who have offered in the past though. I won't forget the help that got me this far in hacking, even though it's not much yet. Maybe once I get things going again I'll accept help, but for now, I'll take baby steps. 

    TL;DR: I took a long hiatus and am back for who knows how long. Sorry to those who have waited for this project and I thank you for being patient with me.

    If it were me, i would make it a rebellion against Roys leadership as the head of the Lycian league and he gets driven out by the other marquessess and flees to Bern to receive aid from there previous enemy. somewhere along the line alliances keep sprouting up, Illia sides with Roy because there loyal, while sacae sides with the Marquessess cause they still feel the pain caused by Bern and cannot be party to anything they do. i think id wanna keep the dragons out of this one and keep it more political rather then fantasy. Eturtia is like the neutral party and you should have like side chapters where you see the nobles trying to take back the western isles and your group (new/old characters) under like percevel, cecila and the new general try to prevent that from happening because they are indirectly supporting roy (until they eventually join up with him) cause the nobles just want money and the marquesses are willing to pay for materials, labour, etc.

    There had been updates to the game so chances are NO.

    Hey! I assume you looked at the Wiki on the Lex Talionis Github page? The next release (v0.8.0) for this project includes a lot of small changes (critical animations, yay!) and one big change, the Level Editor, which should help people create their own levels. 

    But I'm not quite done testing yet. There are probably still a couple of bugs lurking in the Level Editor code, and the tutorial has not been cleaned up for readability. I don't have a date for when the next update will be released (definitely by the end of June though).

    However, if you really want access to the current version of the Level Editor, there is one way to get it.

    1. Clone the Github repo: `git clone https://github.com/rainlash/lex-talionis`.

    2. Checkout the "level_editor" branch: `git checkout level_editor`. This is the development branch.

    3. You will find the level editor code under the "Editor" directory. Run the LevelEditor.py script like any other python script `python LevelEditor.py`. You will need Python 2.7+ and Pygame 1.9.1+ like the Github page specifies.

     

    I give no guarantee that the code is bugfree. By the end of June I should have a better method (I plan on compiling it and distributing it as an executable just like I did with the The Lion Throne proper). If you do follow this method and run into any snags or bugs, please PM me here. 

    What FE game is this using as a base. FE6,7 or 8

    There can't be to many classes that are the same. Cause if you find a Orsin Picture, then keep him a Journeyman, so there is a least a choose to have him become a pirate. Also change Dozla to Dart.

    Make Bone into a berserker with a hand axe.

    Make Bazba into a sage with a divine tome.

    The generic monster boss of chapter 4 should be a cyclops with a steel axe.

    Make Saar into a warrior with a brave bow and hand axe.

    Novala should be a sniper with a silver bow.

    Murray can be a ballistician with axe launcher.

    Boulder is now a fighter with a halberd.

    Colm is now Wrys, with his bases and growths from FE11 as a priest. He comes with Physic. Give him a chest key for the chests.

    Natasha is now a level 9 merc with 32 HP and +5 to her bases. Give her a female merc/hero animation. Triple her HP growth.

    Rations now heal 15 HP.

    Sell iron swords, steel swords, iron lances, steel lances, and iron axes at the chapter 2 shop.

    Zombies now have +2 to all their stats (except HP).

    Give the hatchet 25 uses and B rank, and give it 13 might and 10 critical.

    i don't really use wolt and the bosses are still easy. plus hamilton is so good. he got two crits and and pierce crit to kill the demon king aka ganon 

    ps. lets have some variety in these class changes so things are more interseting

  8. I found bugs.

    1.Sigelinde-  using from distance freezes game

    2. Orson boss- cannot use his custom weapon

    3. Some later balliste enemies cannot use their weapons

    4.Amelia cannot use bows

    Plus (EDIT)

    5. Archer on chapter 6 attacks NPC (the one that replaced the balliste)

  9. Could you make Joshua a sword bonewalker and make his luck growths insanely high, since he's all about Luck. Maybe a Super Bonewalker with swords, lances, axes and bows.
