    The teacher paused as he looked at the class roll and counted the students.  There was an extra person who didn't have a name and, "Alright, already." Mutou's voice hissed, "Jeez you have a bottomless stomach Yami."
    "What can I say, I have not eaten in a very long time, thus my body deems it necessary to eat now." The teacher did a double take at the extra student.

    They looked similar but different to Yugi.  Where Yugi's hair was wild, this one's was wilder with blond bolts through the back.  The darker skin tone and kohl made Negami think of someone from Egypt, and he didn’t recall there being any transfer students from there…
    "Yeah, well you should have eaten before we left home." Mutou groaned, "Because the school food is not the highlight of the day."
    "We could always go to Domino Sidebar."
    "Ugh, I swear to god if you weren't such a falafel addict…"
    The Egyptian grinned, "So we are going then?"
    Mutou sighed in clear defeat, "Yes, we're going.  Okay.  Just sit tight and relax, okay.  Otherwise you’re going to get into trouble for distracting people."

    Then there was quiet.  Negami frowned.

    He wondered what he'd missed and went to call Mutou to his desk when he saw the Egyptian pull out a book, a children's book no less and proceeded to read… or attempt to at any rate.

    Mutou leant over and muttered something to the Egyptian and he seemed to understand before turning back to the book.

    The rest of the day passed uneventfully and Yugi sighed as he had to take his falafel addicted dragon to Domino Sidebar.

    The only saving grace was that it was a cheap fast food street vendor that made falafel.

    Yami was practically skipping happily beside Yugi and the pair came to the vendor.

    The man only had to look at them before he started making the falafels and burger for them.

    Yugi put down two thousand yen on the counter and the man asked them how their day was ("Challenging" according to Yami) and they got their order.

    Yugi and Yami ate on the way home as they did their best to ignore the cameras.

    Yami made a joke about the fact that they had a lot of fans and Yugi sighed, "You already have it in mind don't you?"
    "But of course." Yami grinned, "It is simple enough."

    Yugi sighed and wondered how long it'd take before things were spilled out to the public about his very much still new and private relationship status with Yami.

    They had always been friends.  Ever since Yugi met him and found out he carried the dragon's soul, before he even knew that Yami was a dragon.

    Yet now…

    Now it was more.

    So much more.

    Yugi cast a look over at Yami as he ate the falafels with a wholesome grin on his face, clearly enjoying them a good deal and Yugi smiled softly.  Knowing that it was a rare one indeed.

    When they arrived home it was to the usual chaos.  Yugi’s mother glared when she saw Yugi had a burger, and Yugi sighed, "You know he's a falafel addict."
    "And you're an enabler."
    "You try telling Yami no falafels."
    "I don't see why he should have junk food everyday of the damned week!"
    "Oh shush you two, you are ruining perfectly good food." The dragon growled "I refuse to have such a thing diminished by such pointless arguments."
    Yugi’s mother sighed, "What can I say?  He's a falafel addict.  And you can't keep the falafels away from him, otherwise he’s a pain to deal with.”
    “I take offence to that,” Yami said firmly, “As a proud enjoyer of falafel, one simply can not be without the taste.  And they are healthier than burgers.”
    “Not all burgers are bad!” Yugi shot back,
    “Your favourites are.”
    “Hey! I only had one this week!” Yugi growled, and the pair shared a knowing look,
    “True, this was the only one you have had this week.” Yami conceded, “So it is fair.”
    "And that means no one can say shit about my choices.  Because I'm not going overboard." Yugi declared.

    1:48  Post time skip Edelgard is level 6, so the time skip has to happen very early in the game, maybe that scene where she is talking with a purple hair student from the previous trailer is just a flashback 

    1:43: There isn't a mage batallion category on the screen

    1:00 Hubert is using a tome, though it looks red to me instead of purple (dark magic tome color) 

    1:31 That's anna alright, in the japanese trailer you can see her walking around more easily in the map

     

    Maybe the Byleth in this timelime never made it to the monastery...or returned in time to take the necessary steps for a golden ending (like saving Monica who went missing before the events of Three houses)

    I also think a remake is reasonable, it's a good way for them to get more experience with the console and the engine that KT left them (I'm assuming they are going to reuse the core at least, as they have done with other games launched in the same console).

    And while we are at it, put my money on a Binding blade remake. 

     

     

    Differences between male and female units in Fire Emblem

    Well I do believe you are sort of right on the part that in some games the girls get punished just for being girls with the con and all, and also on average that boys to tend have higher Str and Hp growth.

    I would not call it justified, but I can see a bit of balance in the way things are, women throughout the series have been more geared towards mag,spd,lck and resistance whereas men are inclined more towards str,hp and def.

    A reasoning I could find for why girls tend to be faster would be that the way they train is focus more on nimbleness forsaking their endurance and overall strength, girls also are most of the time portrayed using lighter armor than man and maybe that can added to the reasoning of speed vz resilience.

     

    And about awakening: 

    The highest first generation caps and growth for magic belong to girls : Tharja and miriel, their male equivalents have higher hp and defense in exchange. 

    The highest str growth belongs to boys but there is a tie in the cap. Vaike and Cherche are tied for the highest first gem str cap but he wins over her by a 10% growth in the stat, though, Cherche is no the one with the highest str base,mind you, those would be cordelia,nowi and panne and they lose by 5%

    the highest spd growth goes to girls but the cap is a tied between 2 girls and a boy, Lon'qu , Sumia and Panne, though if you take Panne out of the equation saying that the reason behind her nimbleness is because she is a tanguel than the highest spd growth goes to Lon'qu , but at the end of the day on average the girls are still faster comparing the cast as a whole.

    Brawling dragon ! Mounted-Gauntlet class

    Armored dragon! Flying-armor class 

    Sorcerer! Infantry-male offensive magical master class.

    And I know others have said it but, Baron ! please! this is inspire from the game where they first appeared and if we take heroes out of consideration, we haven't have a single armored mage since the beginning of the series!

    As mean as "OK millennial" I supposed.
    Both terms may invalidate a person's individual experience based on their age. 

    but on a more personal note ,since when it was on millennials it wasn't that much of a big deal... well... to show fairness ... I see it as a meme.

    I got a -Spd +Def L!Celica from my free pull in the legendary banner.
    I like celica as a character and I don't have any player phase aggressive green mage.
    But she feels a bit underwhelming to me somehow  , not sure whether to keep her or fodder her off.

And I find it hard to believe that it was just a case of them misjudging the fanbase because between Niles and the artist for the game being a woman who has drawn stereotypical hot BL before, they clearly know what appeals to that crowd. 

    If Gilbert was gay and it was a part of his character story and why he left Annette and Her mother, that would actually make sense and be pretty cool. But he's bi so... 

    Why? Why why why why why?

     

    Well as others have stated before in this topic; there is a possibility that they are appealing to certain demography of individuals in japan; as they are fans of Yaoi; which basically portraits bishounens (good-looking, slender and most of the time either slightly masculine or androgynous young males),  on the other side of the spectrum there is Bara, which doesn't limit nor very frequently focus on illustrating only young males with the features found on bishounens ; instead; more stocky builds, facial hair and wider age ranges are more common in this gender.

    From my point of view, Alois and Gilbert could have been chosen to target the Bara community that exist in japan.

    And, well, being bi doesn't mean that divorcing his wife(I didn't read the spoilers so I just assuming things base on what you are saying) has less sense compare if he were gay. I mean; yes; it would have the impact of accepting a part of him that he might have been denying for decades, but as a bi man his decision of separating is not necessarily related to his sexuality; after all; he must have had his reasons to do so and is unlikely that he will say something like he got tired of his wife because she was a woman and more sensible to assume that maybe they just weren't getting along and it was time to let things go at some point in his past... I'm trying to say that if someone decides to divorce; their sexuality being a focal point on that decision in this sort of case is something that we should try to avoid assuming so we don't hurt someone's feelings in the process. 

    Oh; and, if it turns out that Byleth is a homewrecker; I'm just going to eat my words with mayonnaise XD.

    It really makes me happy to hear it,  and not only that; Three Houses' first trailer has beaten both Awakenings' (1.2 M) and Fates´ most-watched trailer(1.1) with a whopping 1.9 Million views in only one year! 

    At least we know that people more people are getting more interested in the franchise 🙂 and that it might over-sells the 3ds era titles at some point.

    My two cents after being late to the late party: 

    -Maybe the reviewer that made the article revolving about Claude didn't know a lot about of Fire Emblem and was unaware of the confusion his article might have caused; perhaps when he was talking about romance and bonding, he was referring more to being able to flirt with anyone like in the Japanese version of Fates(you could pet anyone's face) instead of actually marrying them by getting the S-rank. 

    -While none of the options are my cup of tea, I appreciate the effort IS is putting on this, and maybe my opinion about them will change after I play the game and get to know them better.

    -I'll keep my expectations low on getting more than 8 LGBT characters, which is quite the jump forward already. 

    -If Claude would have been Bi, then we would have the LGBT archer archetype XD.
