  1. I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but for the next Fire Emblem game, I hope it won't be a remake.

Not that remakes are bad, but I would prefer something completely new than something I might have played before? And plus if we were getting a remake next, that would mean we would have to wait even more who knows how many years for a non-remake Fire Emblem game, which makes me sad.

Here's one I'm fairly sure will be unpopular. PoR is inferior to RD in just about everything except learning about the characters. RD has better animation, better game play, better map design, better conflict, and I just plainly enjoy RD more than it's predecessor. Of course this isn't me saying PoR is a bad game, PoR is great... RD is just better.

I whole wholeheartedly agree with this. I also don't think it's an unpopular opinion? I think a good amount of people prefer RD to PoR for the reasons you mentioned.

I loved the The Promised Neverland when I watched it but then I switched to the manga and the most recent stuff has been disappointing.

Ugh, tell me about it! As someone who has been reading it's manga since the very start, I'm very sad with how things went.

  4. There are few, yes.

At first I thought Annette would be boring, but she ended up being my favorite female character in this game. And her story while is a bit more on the normal side, it still worked for me if that makes sense.

Hanneman is also a character who grew on me with time. At first, I was a bit tired of him as he almost only talking about crests and such, but his supports made me like him more.

Sylvain was a character who made me roll my eyes whenever he spoke, but the amount of depth he has as a character won me over. For sure one of the best "flirty" characters which I've seen in a game.

My opinion on Edelgard used to change everyday, but now I can say I feel indifference towards her.

Catherine was someone who I liked at first, but...yeah I just couldn't anymore. A lot of wasted potential on her.

And I think this is obvious, but I didn't expect to love Ashe as much as I do now haha.

Both are still emotionless but Fembeth has a certain cuteness to her that makes her more expressive. Male Byleth is just a boring guy but Fembeth has some charm. Her being very tiny gets you the cute result of her being bigger then her students at first but them growing past her after the timeskip. Her face also seems a bit more expressive in general but that could just be me.

Also her outfit has more personality in my opinion. That is probably due to it being more messy overall, but still.

when a character wins a female-dominated poll (like the Dream polls), it's dismissed because, well, only girls were voting in that one, it's not representative of the overall fanbase. but when a character wins a male-dominated poll (like CYL), well now that's perfectly representative of what the fanbase actually likes. the double standard is exhausting. it makes female fans feel like our opinion doesn't matter.

The funny thing is Edelgard got 4th on the last Dream Poll that was made, which also had mostly female voters.

But of course, as she didn't get 1st and/or becasue Dimitri got a higher spot than her, her fans have to come up with any excuse they can think of as to why that poll doesn't count. And playing the card of "It was mostly female voters!" Is somehow the way to go. Like do they think Dimitri doesn't have male fans out there? Or that every female Fire Emblem player is crazy about Dimitri? I don't know. But anyway, don't make them let you feel like your opinions don't matter.

Avatar + Lord will still be one prespective though. Which i am meh on.

They don't have to be though. Maybe the game could be about a Lord + Avatar duo being forced to pick between two sides which are at war, or at least something along those lines.

....But I guess that might make it too similar to Fates now that I'm thinking about it.

  8. I'm tired of multiple routes by this point.

They are cool don't get me wrong, but I don't like how FE16 has to sacrifice a lot of what it could had been just to fit in four routes into itself. So really I wouldn't mind having a more simple game next time, but I do agree that only having one lord to represent a whole game could be a hit or miss.

However now that having an avatar is every game has become a trend, I don't think we would need to worry about having a single lord in a game. That is as long as they don't do what they did in Fates.

Nuts to all that. Fuck moral gray. I want another pure evil villain that fucks shit up with a smile on his face cause he’s evil and he knows it but he just doesn’t care. I want another villain who is just an arrogant bastard that kills orphans because he can. Like come on those villains are fun

Haha, he sounds like a lovely person. Evil characters who are evil for the sake of being evil can be fun as well, which was something I felt like Three Houses lacked actually.

I know we had characters who were evil, but they  weren't really developed, and they also weren't what I would call a fun villain.

  9. I would describe some of the people you mentioned to be more handsome than cute, not that someone can't be both at the same time I guess.

I would say Ashe (my profile picture) to be cute, and his personality also plays apart of it, so it's not just his outward appearance that would make me think of him to be a cute person.

But if we were to take this conversation into real life, I don't think I ever see myself finding someone to look cute, but they might act in a certain way which I will find a bit cute.

  10. If I had to make a prediction about the results, I would say that I can see Berndetta maybe taking Lysithea's spot, but I can see female Byleth or Eirika having a chance themselves as well.

I think the boys side is more messy this round, which was the opposite of how it was last round I believe. The fight for the 2nd spot between Chrom, Marth, and Claude can't have been pretty, even Dimitri isn't safe.

I wish the top 3 on each side would win, I feel like only two girls and two boys is too little considering how big of a cast this series has.
