I find Byleth interesting there cause it seems they went for a pattern with him; The House Leaders, their retainers, and the student that has the most overall notoriety in the Japanese audience.

However, how come Flayn is the only Church character featured there? I mean, you would've thought they'd also include Rhea and Seteth (heck, I'm surprised it's not Rhea instead of Flayn, since not only is she the leader of the Church faction, but she's also the most popular one of the Faculty). Or are those lists not complete just yet? (cause I also find it kinda weird that they'd omit Elincia in Ike's). I mean, if they are, I can only imagine they went with Flayn cause she's the only Church character that actually becomes a student, but I don't know how plausible that argument would be.

Pretty sure we've seen that Elincia is a Micaiah bond ring. I feel pretty certain that what we've seen is what we're getting. It's possible that the bracelets will have bonds, so maybe Rhea could show up in that, but I have my doubts on that, to be honest

I mean, since we know the game has been done for close to 2 years at this point, I'm strangely okay with the Day 1 DLC. I'm normally against it, but... this feels like a weird area to be in.

The other thing to consider, and I'm not saying it applies to this circumstance, but a game will go green months in advance, and be shipped out with cartridges/disks being printed, and since DLC is purely software based, you can send that out at a quicker time table, kind of like day 1 patches that are just bug fixes.

Of course, once again, the game's been ready for a while at this point, so they probably could have squeezed in at least wave 1, but then you could potentially end up with something unfinished if all of the bracelets are connected to a larger narrative. I don't know, it's weird.
