How does she classify as a godlike being?

I think she mostly a Mythic out of neccesity more than anything else.

Unlike Legendary Heroes where our supply of heroes will never end (we have lords, pseudo lords and other figures like Athos that can work for that position), but with Mythics we're pretty limited, and most of the options people comments are just the final bosses (and Mila).

Quite interesting, the same guidebook gives extra names of Crimson Flower as "Hegemony Path", while Silver Snow as "The Empire"

It kind makes sense as Byleth built his own United Fodlan as a new empire in Silver Snow(despite not calling an empire), that or United Fodlan as an inheritor to Adrestian legacy.

BTW, Resistant Army in Japanese is called The New Born Army if translated directly, not sure if any special etymology behind it.

That is fascinating; while technically you're in the Church's side, I guess they decided to give it also an Adrestian-themed name because of both routes coming from Black Eagles.

Calling Crimson Flower as the "Hegemony Path" also gives it an special feeling as the unusual path from all the other ones that follow the usual Post Time Skip (recover the monastery, defend the monastery, go to Gronder, go to Empire); and overall describes how the route works in structure, with you defeating key targets to expand the dominance and influence of the Empire and eventually achieving peace through the end of all the internal threats.

And of course, as you say, the leader in Silver Snow pretty much turns into a God Emperor of what is essencially a reborn Adrestia with a new name.

That's strictly speaking not entirely true. In their supports Ferdinant says he disagrees and he's still allowed to have his head on his shoulders.

Many of the endings have some downsides and the nobility not looking particularly happy on the banner seems a pretty small downside in comparison with the others. In the Blue Lion ending for example the Slitherers aren't completely wiped out nor are they even discovered by the new regime, leaving an extremely dangerous threat still on the loose and in the Golden Deer ending they and the imperial remnant are apparently still powerful enough to almost overthrow Fodlan. The nobilty looking sad while the peasants cheer doesn't seem so bad compared to Fherdiat possibly getting nuked a century down the line or many people dying when Byleth's Fodlan is almost destroyed.

Yeah, overall each endings it's good because overall they're lead by overall good people that manage to unite the world, but each one has their potential disadvantages if things go wrong in some way or another.

I'm leaning towards Mila or Ashera as the most likely new Mythic. But my predictions usually suck.

No idea what Mila could have in her kit, but my thoughts for Ashera:

    • Light: Opposite to Yune.
    • Blue tome: The damaging variants of Judge are considered light magic or strike damage depending on the variant. This also makes her weak to Yune.
    • Armor: Her entire schtick was that she had a barrier of annoying damage reflectors that you had to destroy before being able to damage her.
    • Weapon: Close Counter. Slaying. When taking damage outside of combat from foe, damage dealt to unit is also dealt to foe.
      • Damage reflector.
    • Special: Vengeance.
      • Damage reflector.
    • Unique skill: Passive C. At the start of each turn, inflicts Isolation on foes within 3 columns centered on unit with foe's Res ≤ unit's Res - 3.
      • One of her Judge variants is an AoE Silence that hits the entire map. 3-column range and Res check to match Yune.
    • Other skills: Fortress Def/Res or Fury 4? Wrath?
      • EDIT: Right. Can't Wrath because tome. Maybe a new inheritable skill.
    • Stat spread: Huge HP. Res comparable to Yune's. Decent Def. Other stats don't matter.
      • Take it slow. Make it happen.

This reminds me that Ashera is completely unable of moving of her start position; so I guess she being an armor it's even more true to the source materia.

  5. Edelgard's war while not exactly justified it was supported for stuff that don't only happened directly to her.

She noticed the instability of the world despite the apparent peace; she was in a interesting position because of her connection of the Agarthans. She could or could not knowing, but considering their actions, they want war and will make peaceful resolutions impossible.

People also think Jeritza is bind to Crimson Flower, but didn't he kept his identity hidden as Death Knight in the path? Like even Manuela didn't realize his true identity

It's actually Azure Moon that he exposed his true identity, but this is also the second to the last chapter in the past so I don't know the point having him usable here either.

The fact Jeritza feels so far removed from CF supports the idea he was supposed to have content there; and even shows his human side like Manuela commented.

A part of me doesn't think Sothis is an actual goddess. Although she's known as the "progenitor god", her true nature is more similar to that of a divine dragon rather than a God. Divine dragons can still be killed. I think the main reason why she's known as the progenitor god is because Rhea spread that story when she was forming a church about her. It's not surprising that Rhea made her into such a figure, since she seems so obsessed with her. She's a powerful being, but still mortal.

    Spoiler

Yeah, Sothis it's pretty much a Divine Dragon, she seems to be able to do the same kind of stuff the big ones like Naga are able to do; included time-manipulation abilities.

I consider Mia to be the weakest Greil Mercenary as a character myself. So I see what you mean.

If I had to guess her appeal, it's just simple surface charm. A confident, cute girl with a sword. I'm not sure how anyone could find depth in Mia.

Yeah; Mia doesn't have a particularly interesting backstory or an interesting dymanic or memes (not even memes; the thing about her voice acting seems to he a more recent thing and she was very popular even in Japan where that thing isn't memeable)

She is probably the biggest example of a character stading out by character design alone, which we have to admit it, it's very cool and pretty specially compared with the rest of the Mercenaries and many of the other characters.

  9. Outside of the obvious choices (Kronya and Gatekeeper) I would like to mention Shamir; a character that appeared without much fanfare during the first days of character speculation, suddenly became one of the most popular of the neutral characters.

From older games I guess the only character that comes to mind that has a very random following it's... Mia? oh, and maybe Rinea too. The others are a lot easier to understand.

I’m pretty sure that if there is a church banner that Rhea has to be on it, no exceptions. That way, it’s a more neutral portrayal instead of an antagonistic one, and I’m pretty sure there’s a fair amount of people who’d pull for Rhea (myself included). She’d probably be in place of Shamir as much as it pains me to say it, and I’d say Seteth would be better as a axe flier while Flayn could fit better as a flying staff or even a infantry lance if color balance is ignored.

The GHB would probably be someone from Slytherin, whether it be Solon or Thales (leaning towards the former).

Yeah, I doubt we will see Thales before Post Time Skip stuff starts to appear.

What did he do that was that dumb in CF or Silver Snow? The dumbest thing he did in Blue Lions was ignore Byleth warning of attacking the bandits without a plan. Which for some reason Claude whose smarter then Byleth also does and Seteth. Without so much a word of protest from Byleth in those routes. The reason in the story why BL Dimitri is crazier then BE routes Dimitri is

he killed Ashe father and his militia before they killed Rhea and found vengeance justified because Byleth took him to kill Kronya. His arc contrasts Edelgards.

Oh yeah I know that; I was talking in the context of GD.

In Silver Snow it's hard to say; but considering he's dead... something happened; and was probably related to his boarness.

Yes! I would like a longer version with more lyrics. I also want to just say that Cherami Leigh's voice is beautiful and has made me appreciate her and Rhea so much more. Move over Azura, I have a new favorite singer.

This makes me wonder if the japanese version it's sang by Kikuko herself; if that is the case, I love her voice.

In his own route Byleth had the opposite effect on him then on Edelgard that's a fact. Gilbert and Byleth still are allowed to try to talk to Claude. In GD he shows up no one knows his alive attacks everyone then dies in a exposition dump. No consistent reason why for this. His far worse on GD for no explainable reason.

He had an opportunity to kill Edelgard even if it was suicidal to try it... and he wanted to take it... If he doesn't have Byleth at his side nobody can stop him of doing dumb stuff.
