    How exactly does Skype work?

    Its a messaging service really. I use it for IMs and voice chats. Voice chats and IM chats in groups are free (between Skype accounts) but calling phone lines and video chatting in groups (more than two people) will cost you money, though you do not need to attach a credit card number to your account to use Skype. You add other people with Skype accounts to your contact list, or you can import people from Facebook (bad idea).

    I use it to talk to online friends, send files to all types of friends, and keep in contact with long distance family for free.

    People get freaked out when I ask if they have Skype because they think video chat, and thats pretty personal to talk FACE-TO-FACE with people but like I said, I usually use it for the IM service. Its basically the new MSn or AIM or whateves. Gamers use it a lot.

    I have an AP Computer Science test and an AP English IV test in early may. :x

    I'm good for the Comp Sci test because I can study for it, but the English one is basically like... can't train for it at all so I'm just gonna wing it. I already got a lot of scholarships from the college I'm going too so I'm not worrying about it too much. Stress is counter-productive.

    Valentine's Day

    Even when I was single I never hated Valentine's Day. It was just another day. I don't understand why some people get so aggressive over it.

    I had two Valentine's Days this year. Since my boyfriend and I work, we celebrated on the 8th with gifts, but we ended up both having time to do something on the 14th as well. It was just like another day, though it was acceptable for us to be extra queer in public. Also, just another excuse for us to spent a day away from our annoying schedules.

    But like I said, single is fine too. I always get my friends and family stuff too. After all, Valentines Day is a day to express your love for people, not necessarily only significant others.

    I called a while ago, when I heard about the game releasing very early in Canada. The employee told me its coming out on the the 5th and I was like, whaaaat.

    He said it says the 4th in the system, but games usually ship and then they get them on Tuesdays. I have heard that before so I wasn't upset. A little upset, but I've waited forever for this game, I'm fine with another day.

    I'm still working through S5. Thanks for using the spoiler stuff guys. You're seriously the most considerate online community for that ahaha.

    But oh god I love Jesse Pinkman. Since S1 I've just wanted to hug him. He's the only morally good character left and he's come so far... He deserves everything honestly, what a babe. u-u;

    I've gotten a few of my friends into the show and they're all farther than me now haha. My boyfriend and I were Jesse and Walt for Halloween this year. He roleplayed and everything but he basically just kept saying awful things to me and making me want to cry about Jesse ahaha. It was great though!

    I love the show so much! I've never watched a show with so much obvious planning, serious character development, dedicated acting, and powerful directing that keeps me watching episodes back to back. I've been on the edge of my seat since S1, E1. There's just always so much going on in every episode. I love it. I could talk about it all day. I'm just glad they're ending it where they planned to. It's not going to be run to the ground like most good shows. I can't wait.

    WHY IS SUPERNATURAL ON THE NOT RECCOMENDED LIST ITS SO GOOD until season 6 then its poop but thats what happens when the writer quits because the industry tried to run his show to the ground

    i can understand not liking it if you're a heterosexual male because a lot of what the show has going for it is strong, handsome, sensitive guys killing evil things but you know whateves

    I've only really used it to describe a situation that's awkward or uncomfortable to be around. Like "Yeah, they're fine by themselves, but don't hang out with them together in a group. They get pretty queer." (about a couple, or something, idk).

    Its more of the original definition of the word.

    Hello.

    I was wondering if some of you have heard about this...the Deep Web. Basically, it says that basic search engines like Google and Yahoo only show 5% of what the whole Internet is. The 95% of it is covered, as if it were some kind of conspiracy. The truth behind that, though, is that there happens to be alot of confidential information and databases as well as outright grotesque things in there...

    What's worrying me though, it's the grotesque things I heard from that place. The "dark side" of the Internet. It is said that alot of illegal things go on there, alot of illegal and just out right inhumane things can be found. I've heard that there is a whole blackmarket going on where they sell human organs illegally as well as drugs, weapons and hire for assassins. But that's just the beggining. What really bothering is the kind of images that can be found- There are videos of people being slaughtered and treated as pieces of meat, as well as child prostitution, live suicides, among other horrible things.

    I just can't not be disturbed at how low the human race could have gotten...I am utterly disturbed to the point I can't get some of these things out of my head. I can't believe the level of outright malice could go this far for their simple entertainment.

    Been there. The Deepwebs is literally like 20 websites. Its talked about to scare redditfags into wetting their beds more than usual.

    And yeah, there's mentions and talk of illegal things, like hitmen, child porn, murder, etc. Almost all of it is just people talking about it, and stuff around it that they've supposedly done. And all that is accessible there, on Deepwebs, live suicides, child porn, etc, is just as available on the regular internet if you know how to look for it.

    In other words, its boring. You're ignorant. Humans are gross and disturbing and we all can't deny that we aren't fascinated enough by things like real gore to just look away when its offered to us. that's human nature as well. The Deepwebbers, or simply a lot of people with a lot of time to spend on the internet, just accept that fact and look anyway because they can.

    If this is all it takes for you to get "disturbed at how low the human race could have gotten" you should try watching the news some time. Have fun in the real world, bro.

    Mittens had some interesting policies but I don't trust him for one second.

    Plus, I don't like how he talks about women's rights at all.

    I can't jump for joy for Obama b/c I'm aware that he is flawed but I believe he is trying to help the country and doesn't have any hidden motives.
