For real though, I do like the music style better in the SNES games than in the DS games. Either way, you still get to see one of the best turncoats in the series.
The unique way weapon ranks and of course dismount among other things is mainly what he'd probably say.

i'm gonna guess for the Golden Axe it'll be 1 and for Streets of Rage it'll be 2
For Phantasy Star I'm guessing both 2 and 4.
4 being one my favorite JRPGs period which i'm currently rerunning through at the moment. -

all the DBFZ drama of it not having a lot of events from seeming Toei interference, kind of tore the player base in half although it seems to have abated for now, it'll probably jump up in time, but i'm not surprised at the moment.

If people get this collection, I believe 4 is the game that most of the main mechanics, besides 1 and 2 that are being used for this new game are from. According to some of the Samsho pros i'm in a discord with.

It might be hard, I only managed to play 1 with a now lost to time guide. That had the script translated.
We only got 5 localized.

Anyway, awesome that the series is coming back and finally getting an overseas release. It's PS4-only now, but I can't see SEGA NOT making a Switch due to how much the system is selling over in Japan. After all, Valkyria Chronicles 4 didn't get a Switch announcement until the PS4 version was released in Japan.
Also, Samantha Ferreira at Anime Herald spotted a neat little Easter Egg in the trailer:

Well once I started running out of spirits on the board I had to start summoning them. While I was doing that I realized there were some spirits I didn't have so I found out that they could only be purchased from the adventure mode shops. On top of all that my spirit points really started to dry up so I had to start replaying spirit battles just to sell of the duplicates. Also I'm in college so I didn't exactly have the time to binge play it.
Just wait until the dlc characters add more spirits and new spirits getting added by events :p

Not to derail, because this is opinion based, but FE11 added quite a bit of Quality of Life to modern FE in general, with much of it's phases, being able to skip them instantly, quickness in general and more. Which was a massive complaint in the likes of FE4 and Tellius.
Not to mention reclassing for quite a bit of fun for variety sake.
FE1 is also kind of a slog so saying it didn't improve it even there is kind of a brutal understatement. Not to mention making it's wide cast a little more viable overall with the additions of reclass and alterations to growths.
So while you can dislike it, I just felt the want to point those out, sorry if it was a little out of place haha.

Maybe a PC release? Maybe a Switch release, I dno tbh. Seems to be just PS4 for now. but I wouldn't be surprised to see other consoles getting it.
I think the designs in general are awesome so far, the darker skinned girl reminds me a lot of Schera from Trails in the Sky too lmao.

Between like Streets of Rage coming back, Cold Steel 3 getting localized, Ys 9, this, and numerous other things like Freedom Planet 2 is also due this year, I dno what is going on.

Binding Blade is one of the more popular FE's in Japan baring Archenea and the newer games, so it makes logical sense.
Plus the director of Echoes said if he were in charge again, it'd be Binding Blade for certain. Genealogy is a unique and fun game, but I don't see it being remade JUST yet. It will eventually, but I don't see it happening before FE6.
