4 days to go!
The excitement for this hack is unreal! -
A release date!?
YES!
Cannot get over how hyped I am for this hack, fingers crossed that all is going as well as you'd helped Alfred :D
Counting down the days! -
Feel like an idiot for not spotting that! *facepalm*
Thanks for pointing that out :D -
Is there an estimated time of release for the first patch by any chance? :D
-
Glad to see you've made the Devil weapons more interesting!
Never found myself risking the attack with it very often if at all.
Also I agree with Matt on the Battle Frame and Black Pegasus compliment, kudos for both indeed :D -
As I can see from the poll, only about 15% of the members loved the Tower of Valni / Lagdou Ruins.
May I ask you why you didn't like it, then?
Were the monsters too weak?
Was the impossibility to save frustrating?
Were the maps boring?
See I did like the idea of the Tower/Ruins, but the Tower was too easy and the maps were rather simple, while the Ruins had a crazy number of units on some maps, but not exactly a tactical challenge. Also I wouldn't have minded the not being able to save if the maps were fun to repeat, but I found myself giving up every now and again just because I didn't want to have to play the same lame maps. If the maps were more interesting (more trick tiles, more of a maze, heck changing up the victory conditions would be nice too) then it would've been a much better feature!

Have to say, this is a game I'm extremely looking forward to getting into!
The storyline alone has my attention gripped, but the fact that it's a Sacred Stones hack is a massive bonus in my books.
Really looking forward to the first release, congratulations with your work so far and good luck with the rest of the game! :D -
Absolutely loving this, if anything this Let's Play has inspired me to put more effort into Tekun on my second playthrough! ;D
-
please read the readme for the nth time
Apologies, thank ye for the redirection.

With both routes and gaidens?
There will be about 45 or so.
In a normal playthrough without gaidens and just playing the story, it's about 34 chapters.
I doubt it, I'll probably go back to focusing on schoolwork. (I want to get this hack done before I go to university)
However, I will be helping with a certain other fire emblem "hack" after I finish DoF.
That is impressive, I wish you the best with the future of this game and also for when you go back to university!
...You know the official games do this too, yeah?
Either I can't remember or I'd killed those units to quickly! :P
Only really noticed there when I tried to lure a random unit to fight me.

10a
And in Onduris you don't even get cavaliers until after the route.
I look forward to see some of the other weapons you guys create for the rest of the game.
How many chapters are you aiming for altogether?
And I know it's a bit soon, but do you think you'll create another Fire Emblem game?
-
Yes, some stand their ground no matter what.
That's a nice touch as well, I just wanted to make sure!
-
Good to hear it will be getting finished, hearing that the game will split into two paths is great news too!
More of a reason to replay it!
I do very much look forward to getting a healer, but I had to restart chapter 3 anyway 'cause I accidentally killed the archer I wanted to recruit D:
So I'm gonna restart grab a couple more potions to make it a little easier for myself now I know a little more of the setup!
Forgot to point out I like the fact that you start the game with the usual promoted character, yet it ain't the usual paladin.
Kudos on the many personal touches!

I have to admire the difficulty for it firstly, definitely more challenging than the original game in my opinion.
I've came across something I wanted to check with y'all first!
On chapter 3 I came across a few units that wouldn't move towards me even when I was within range, these weren't key units one of them was just your average enemy mercenary. Are some units meant to hold their ground no matter what?
Other than that I've been really enjoying the game although I am going to need to restart as I will need to purchase some more potions for my next playthrough, didn't expect things to get as dicey, I'm really loving the game in a whole.
The storyline is pretty deep and I love the thought put into it.
The characters are all realistic and lovable in their own way.
And I love the addition of new weapons and new sprites too!
I've only got to chapter 3 and I'm loving it a heck of a lot!
Is it still a WIP though? It only goes up to Chapter 10 right?
I really hope this is a project that gets seen to the end!
Good work folks! :D

EXCELLENT!
I got it working, thank you very much for the help!
Gonna play it through now. Should I leave feedback here or is there a separate forum for that? :)
-
Wait now I'm REALLY gonna sound like an idiot.
I apply the DoF file through NUPS to the actual Blazing Sword Rom right?
I'm new to all this NUPS and VBA stuff, so I really have no clue :P
-
Yeah I know I'm going to sound like a noob here, but I'm looking for assistance as I REALLY REALLY wanna play this game.
Only recently did I stumble across VBA and I've been playing Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones again and have realised how much I have missed the game.
After taking a look around the internet I stumble across Dream of Five and I've downloaded the file, the patch and even NUPS.
Sadly it won't allow me to patch :/
Is there something really silly that I'm doing wrong?
If someone could help me out that'd be great, I really want to play this and I'll happily leave my review once done!
