I knew something like that would happen as soon as I saw the direct so I paused it and went straight to order it off Amazon which was the only store with orders open initially. And I'm happy I did. Sold out within an hour after. I also dropped 20 more bucks for express shipping to make sure it arrived exactly on the 19th; with that and the limited edition Fates 3ds, I've spent over 300$ on this release. Only for Fire Emblem would I ever do something like this. No regrets. :>

I did the same thing as you Silver. I stalked Amazon until the pre-orders of the special edition went up. I also spent money on the Map Pack 1 DLC and then I managed to get the special New 3DS XL pre-ordered since I lost out on the Awakening 3DS. Wasn't going to make that mistake again. So now I'm like $340 in the hole for Fates. XD Good thing I decided to skip conventions this year.

I'll be stalking ebay for the Special Edition of Fates then. XD

If only I hadn't wrecked my car in the time before the con I could have been there too :(

I'm going to do my best to be there next year, so hopefully we can all meet up again! Or you could even try going to Tekkoshocon, my local con, in Pittsburgh PA around March/April if its not too far since I go every year. Only 3-ish hours away from the ColossalCon area. Sorry we couldn't meet this year, I hope we can next time. :)

I might give Tekkoshocon a try next year, which means I better start saving up if I want to go there next year. I'm definitely planning on being at Colossalcon next year.

Ahhh, good for you! IMO getting a cosplay done is more important than a single day of the con...then again I'm used to missing the first day of cons because my parents would never let me go on a school day when I was younger.

I only sent one inquiry and didn't hear back. I sent another one to make sure they have my summer address so my cosplay doesn't get lost in the mail, or sent to the wrong address.

I'd ask them again how things are going; if they haven't answered you or given any reason beforehand why they wouldn't answer you its completely reasonable to ask how things are coming along until you get an answer. Or at least its reasonable IMO.

I agree with Silver, it's reasonable to ask again since it seems like it's been a while since you last sent your inquiry about the cosplay.

Yeah, makes sense because he is a thief after all XD so that's seems pretty fitting.

Haha. Yeah. I probably won't make hiding places for candy since it'd be too much work and the candy would weigh the cloak down.

Yeah, you're used to having a powerful team, and starting over takes some getting used to.

Yeah. I'm still trying to get Donnel leveled up and I'm trying to level up everyone evenly. XD

I did just that when I first recruited Donnel, I tried to get him up to par with the rest of my team. Although, I didn't really use Ricken and so far, he's a Sage. I really should try to train him more.
