  1. Yeah, we're planning on something like a Midori style route split. After the end of the current demo, you'll do Roy route and then it'll jump to Eliwood route. The idea here is to try and cut down on redundancies.

  2. REDFE is a hack of FE8 (U) featuring red haired characters from all over the FE series. Yes, Roy Radd is in this game.

  3. The idea of telling someone new to 'experiment, figure it out yourself' when they don't have a base to work off seems like a pretty bad idea to me. It's just not very newbie friendly, and creates a barrier for people who want to hack. If attitudes like that continue, FE hacking is going to fade away much soon than it should. Leaving people out to dry is only going to drive them off.

  4. The whole point about everyone on your side being pre-promoted and the enemies having to deal with the bases of unpromoted classes is a good point. The easiest way of 'fixing' things would probably be to change all the enemies into prepromo's as well. You'd probably have to change enemy bases and growths but it could make an interesting hack, one more aligned to the earlier, puzzle-like chapters of some FE games if you decided to change enemy formation as well.

    On the image topic, clicking links requires extra effort on my part. If you want to sell the hack to us, then you should put in a little more effort into your OP. I hate having to put effort into things, but eh. I'm lazy.

  5. A set end limit and short length is generally good for quality yes. Looking forward to the next version, if only so we can marvel at someone else's crazy luck playing through it.

    I'd like a 'soon to come' as well, but I can wait till the next release.

  6. If there's any track to complain about, it isn't A Moments Rest, but instead Lightning. Good thing changing volumes within certain extent is super quick on VBA but Lightning is still way too loud. It's a minor nitpick that wouldn't be really worth the effort to fix but it's there.

  7. Well, I think Blazer mentioned working on them on the blog and he put up the Kevin and Rex support, so I'd assume they're underway but not to be seen for months.

    But on another note, Something Awful was going to be starting a FE Hacks Thread next week and I already know that the TLP is one of the main ones being shown off . I actually volunteered to do it, but I figured I wouldn't be much good and TLP deserves its dignity. I was wondering if the other person got in contact with you, Blazer so I'm just checking.
