Subaki is just a bulky flying healer + Rally bot for me usually. He's not good but he usually gains levels due to Attack stance kills and constant healing. Very handy to have around since every other unit is outclassed in combat by Ryoma.

I actually like the Nohr Noble battle panties.Hoshido Noble. Staves are very useful and having a character as sturdy as Corrin be able to use Rescue is excellent.

I prepared myself to hate Nina, but she's a pretty nice character disregarding her yaoi obsession. It helps that other characters like Shiro react to it in a natural way.
Setsuna's also funnier than I expected.
Her Corrin obsession gives me a snorin' obsession.

I find it interesting that they both have kids who are kind of jerks but are too lazy to actually commit to being jerks.
I vote for Jakob. Only because I don't like the way he's nice around Corrin but mean behind his back. Azama at least is honest around Hinoka.

Ryoma's skill has a serious case of "the rich get richer". His combat is better if he's overleveled and he will continue being overleveled because his combat is so good. Having better ranged combat than Takumi is absolutely stupid.

Takumi's personal skill irritates me since he usually ends up overleveled for me.

Beruka and Tomahawk? It synergizes with her personal skill. I think she starts with it in Royal Royale.

Mitama's personal skill is that special combination of too situational and almost completely useless. It's hands-down the worst personal skill in my book.
As a person with awful staff management skills, any skill that heals people for free is fine in my book.

It doesn't help that Soleil's other characteristics involve her lack of talent. She's bad at singing, dancing ,cooking, poetry etc. Not having talent isn't a negative character trait mind you but she's way out of he league with regards to the other girls in the army. If the writers focused on Soleil learning and gaining some value out of her relationships with women, maybe she would have been more palatable. As it stands, Soleil doesn't seem like she cares about improving herself as a person and only seeks out women for superficial reasons.

Honestly I gave Arthur Certain Blow and he performed excellently. Didn't ever need any Goddess Icons.
His accuracy is a bigger issue than his dodge.

I just realized that Shiro is basically Vaike.
Vaike was one of the least popular characters from Awakening so I wonder what was the X-factor that makes Shiro popular here?

So the new expansion came out recently. I'm having loads of fun with it and I'm curious to see if anybody here plays this game.
Whispers of the Old Gods ads definitely show up on this site so I assume people are aware.
