Hm, well, it's a shmup series, the main characters are Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame. I personally recommend Touhou 8 (Imperishable Night) and Touhou 14 (Double Dealing Character) as entry points.

There's also a lot of fan-made games, manga, music arranges, and anime. So you can try those too.
