Is there a way to save using a savestate from a different memory card?

I've been playing through Path of Radiance again recently using Dolphin, and the memory card my saves were in got corrupted, and I had to delete it.  I still have my save states, so I'm not screwed out of finishing the game, but I can't make any proper saves with them any more.  I just get a message saying "This is not the original memory card.  Please insert the memory card that you used when you loaded the game." 

 

I was just wondering if there was anything I could do about this, outside of restarting from the beginning, because I'd like to use my own save file for a Radiant Dawn transfer if possible.
