[SRPG Studio] [Complete] Crusade of Alstracia 337 by CadetCasey

Hi I'm Casey! I've been playing Fire Emblem for about 19 years now since the release of FE7. Today I'm releasing a project I've been working on for a bit over the past three years: Crusade of Alstracia 337.

This game is my love letter to FE4, and not just FE4, but an old translation of it from 2010. I remember going through the Fire Emblem community in the 2000s and the Japanese Fire Emblem games weren't fully translated yet. There were so many unique aspects to this game and translation that made me fall in love with it instantly when I first played it. And so this is the game I have made as homage to that enjoyment and time in my life.

The things that are included that make my game separate from other FE like fan games include:

  • FE4 sized maps with multiple castles per chapter and heavily integrated story into gameplay, split between two generations. The chapter maps cover about 80% of the entire continent across the playthrough.
  • Two generation system and FE4 lover system. You can pair up characters in the first generation, and their kids in the second generation will inherit their parents' growth rates, skills, and weapons. Additionally their starting stats will be influenced depending on who their parents were. Love conversations give boosts to love points between characters. This system also comes with an augury/fortune teller system who will tell you who someone has the most love points with.
  • A Pawn Shop and weapon repair system that is the same as FE4's. Each character has a unique inventory that they cannot trade, and transfer of weapons and items between characters in the same generation occurs through the pawn shop.
  • Every graphic in the game is at least modified, meaning no unedited SRPG Studio defaults.
  • There is an 76 page guide, containing all of the secret events, character info, and so on.
  • The translation's of the game's skill names are even accurate to FE4's Gharnef translation patch, which is my personal favorite. Names like "Brave Sword" are referred to as "Hero Sword" for example.
