He has horrible stats (his skill is good, though) at a high level (19, I think), you get him on the second to last chapter (unless you deal with Kishuna), and the only use I could find for him was killing falcoknights in the chapter I get him. And he comes with a fortify. But, he is still a nearly useless unit. There we go! I didn't put up all the pre-promotes ever. Only the ones most people whine about. The only thing she offers to your army is a Wo Dao, a weapon only usable by herself, Guy, Lyn, and Karel. Never mind. I was just reminded of Jagen's existence. Zealot is ugly, has a good looking woman, is hard to keep alive on hard mode, has even shittier stats than your average Jeigan, and even worse growths. Atleast Jeigan can be used to soften up enemies in the early-game for your weaker units to finish, and can even hold his own for the first few chapters. What can Karla do? Her stats are horrible by the time she joins, and it's not like she can find use as a healer like Renault can. She's one of the worst units in FE history, if not THE worst. Intoner Two Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Vaida; if you complain about Karla showing up with just one weapon, all Vaida comes w/ is a Spear which I really don't use over Javelins; if I get Karla at least it's like getting a spare Killing Edge for the units you'd want to use it anyway (other swordmasters/Lyn); Karla's base skl/spd are the same as Vaida's lv 20 avgs :{ plus the woman has really, really bad resistance...and I tend to use flying units to bait long-range magic-users into wasting their long-range tomes, (Zealot has better Res and Spd than this lady <_<) so for all these reasons and more opinionated-biases I really don't like her >_<; in general I don't use early pre-promotes at all if possible so exp-sucking never been a concern too but what really hurts this lady IMO is when she shows up she has major trouble getting exp if you actually needed her to (say for Ranks, I don't do these but I'm just saying that it could be an issue I think) or wanted to use her...terrible Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
