Steven Tyler
"African-American History Month". Seriously, instead of calling it "Black History Month", this little flyer I got from my college says "African-American History Month Program". Is this how politcal correct we are now that we can't even say "Black History Month"?
Intoner Two
@_@ I hasn't seen anything on TV about this change (like around this time they tend to advertise TV specials/programs/movie marathons for "Black History") then again I only been watching the Food Network lately

TheEnd
I've seen blacks getting offended by this "african-american" bs.
Steven Tyler
I've seen blacks getting offended by this "african-american" bs. Yeah, it's really funny. I'm of African blood, but seeing how America treated blacks for the last oh say 40-400 years . . .

Steven Tyler
Once I get home and if nobody using the computer, I might scan the flyer and get ya opinion on it.
Bohemund
Once I get home and if nobody using the computer, I might scan the flyer and get ya opinion on it. If it has random black people on it smiling, it's a instant win.
DeSu
I TOTALLY HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CALL ME A BLACK GUY! I'M AFRICAN AMERICAN DAMMIT! [/sarcasm] Seriously though, black, white, whatever. I don't see why people get offended by that stuff. If you're caucasian, you're white. If you're African American, you're black. It's basically just something easier to say. I think if someone calls you black and you say "Im African American", you're a snobby little bitch.
Mufasa
If they make that happen, then I demand a "Caucasian History Month." And it should be in December. Since that's when snow falls.

uguu
If they make that happen, then I demand a "Caucasian History Month."And it should be in December. Since that's when snow falls. By that logic black history month would have to happen any month that a volcano erupts because of all the ash.

TheEnd
Not in the state of New York.We have every single form of "Pride" parade except for Anglo Saxon. Minorities get pride parades. Majorities don't. And Occidental history is usually told by a Caucasian perspective, anyway. Lol Europe.
TLSothe
This is why I am politically incorrect at all times. It's black fucking history month. BLACK. HISTORY. MONTH. But honestly, I don't call black people/African Americans anything usually. We're all humans.

TLSothe
The only time I mention human color is if I'm writing a story, if I have a black or Chinese character, I'll mention that once, so that readers have a better image of him/her. Dr. Tarrasque
Who cares what race a person is? They're just people. @Bold: Every idiot in the world that does not realize the italics. The whole color thing in pointless IMO, it's just gonna cause problem and makes room for dumbasses to rip on others just to boost their ego... and that's only the least of what this bullshit does >_>. TheEnd
Yeah, but...it shouldn't. There shouldn't be poverty, either. Or wars. Or government corruption. However...
