Florete
I feel like using Athos is cheating on my other, much more deserving units.
Raven
On the Final Chapter, I usually have a few units still in need of experience, so using Athos would defy the point of raising my units against the Morphs.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
By using Athos, it usually gives the beginners the opportunity to help beat the game.
Serene
Also, I am curious as to why NTG has retire? Does anyone knows? By using Athos, it usually gives the beginners the opportunity to help beat the game. *raises hand* agreed to the fullest extent of the word
Not Changed by VASM :(
He's a good unit and you have to take him into the chapter this is a question why?
Raven
He's a good unit and you have to take him into the chapter this is a question why? No, just a question of whether you actually make him attack anything.
Not Changed by VASM :(
I can do the chapter without him but since your forced to have him anyway why should I not have him attack?
Renan
I only use Athos because he fights for his friends. Until someone proves otherwise I will always use him/
Nightmare
I think you're mixing Athos with Ike.
Fireman
Athos isn't necessary if you're a vet, but he's still pretty useful, especially with Luna. In fact, it might even be too easy with Athos and Luna.
Raven
With Nils's help and a lucky critical, Athos can kill the dragon in one turn using the Luna tome.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
Well Luna is actually broken in this game. This could be use for your advantage against anyone in the Final Chapter.
Camus The Dark Knight
With Nils's help and a lucky critical, Athos can kill the dragon in one turn using the Luna tome. You could also have Nils use Fala's Might and just get a crit for a 1 hit KO.
Lost_Soul_Renault
Athos makes a great healer! ussually I hive Ivaldi to a bishop...which is 80% of the time Serra
Zero the Hero
I used him to heal when my sages were busy, and to read the conversation between him and nergal.
Sevensins
Kenneth's room, then long range with Priscilla against anything else there; I'm not a magic using person, really. I can surely beat it without Athos, but less turns == higher rate
HowAreYaBud
I used him. This FE was the first one I ever played, and I beat it when I was like...9, I think. (I was so much bettter at video games then than I am now) I actually tried to beat it on my second playthrough WITHOUT Athos, but, I kept dieing so I decided to use him.I remember my Eliwood sucking horribly...I think I only got him to level 10 or 11 before he promoted. I don't think I've had an Eliwood that's been higher than 4 before promotion
Ϲharlie
Huh. Eliwood almost always turns out to be one of my best characters, but that's another topic altogether. In any case, I always use Athos for something the final chapter. He's forced into my team and I revile the idea of having a character do nothing. Mongol
I tend to use Athos because hes mandatory for the last chapter and hes not that bad. Besides I tend to never have enough magic users in my army.
