Fore
I have been playing since the day Red and Blue were released. Roger, I play Blue/Yellow. I also played Pearl... I only like the original 150 Pokemon, though. The new ones are kind of bleh... :(
Hanz
The newest generation is the best since the original. Gen 2 has to be my least favorite though.
Meteor
Pokemon would be so weird without Blissey...
Hanz
As much as I love my Blissey, it really isn't fair sometimes.
Vangaurd
Ugh, but WITH blissey pokemon is weird. Nothing should have that much hp and sp. defense at the same time.
Meteor
As long as you can keep her from recovering, she's not really problematic.
Vangaurd
Heh, just use mach punch and it's dead. No questions asked.
Meteor
Every Blissey you will ever see [competitively] will be bold natured with max Defense. Even with STAB, Mach Punch won't be enough, probably not even for a 2HKO.
Vangaurd
I was joking cuz mach punch is the weakest fighting attack I could think of. How many of you have used cheats to teach a machamp with speed EVs and no guard fissure?
Meteor
Yes, but it's physical. Vacuum Wave would be much weaker. I went a step further and gave No Guard + Guillotine to speed Deoxys :D
Vangaurd
Please tell me you're kidding. The anime, or making fun of it at least, is the best thing since sliced bread.
Meteor
My brother had hacks, and kept bugging me to play him. He wasn't too pleased with how it worked out. Unfortunately, I haven't seen enough of the anime to tease it.
Aurion_Emblem
I don't watch the animes! I've heard that Electric attacks can damage Ground types in them LOL "Pikachu, I believe in you, you can take that Marowak...use thundershock!" and it took out the Marowak in one hit...quality reality right there... Please tell me you're kidding. The anime, or making fun of it at least, is the best thing since sliced bread. point in case
Vangaurd
Heh, yeah, the only thing I would/do use hacks for is EV training by messing with the RNG.
Aurion_Emblem
mess with RNG to get EV's...right...because RNGs effect what EVs you get from enemy pokemon...it's not messing with RNGs, it's messing with the script that says which pokemon appears where...
Meteor
Or, you could just hack the EVs onto the Pokemon. :\
Vangaurd
Simply hacking the EVs is no fun b/c it doesn't involve palkia vs. palkia every 3 seconds. Also, I'm reasonably sure that the EV values that a given pokemon gives you are fixed. I dunno for sure but you/I could look it up on serebii. And I think the RNG determines the which pokemon appear where, as well as script. But, I dunno how to program a videogame, so I wouldn't be an authority on these matters. Aurion_Emblem
true...but it feels more special when you went out and raised the pokemon yourself...you could be shameless...but then everyone you battle would be upset...unless they too were shameless...at which point it comes down to moves and luck... Vangaurd
I dont care when my EV hacked mewtwo is rarpingz your pokemon.
Meteor
Or you could get all those people together and call it Shoddy Battle.
Vangaurd
Did you ever play pokemon netbattle? It was basically online pokemon and it was hecka fun, except that it wasn't because all everyone used was leech seed then substitute.
Aurion_Emblem
Netbattle = (Pokemon + hax)(normal speed X 100) seriously, it takes even less effort to put your EV's and IV's to what you want...but it works better for lame people who would not normally put that much time into making an entire team
SwordsAreShiney
I still play Pokémon. Well, I haven't recently, but I did get Diamond and play it for a few months. I have a Pokémon site too. :P
lcronovt
I play pokemon, but I havent touch it since Octuber 07, my diamond version. Now I remember why I havent play. Im to lazy to raise all my party with minimum of 2 in stats 31 IVs, I need an AR, but my party is "ready" to battle. :P
