"Bad" shows (Shows that nobody watches/likes) don't continue for 7+ seasons. Then why is The Simpsons still running and Futurama isn't? Family Guy continuing for so long just means it has a lot of followers, not necessarily that it's good or bad. Same goes for any other show.
