Eyvel

So I finished Ch 24x. Is it safe to assume that Eyvel is Bridget? I apologize if this kind of topic has been created before. Here's all the points I found that suggest it.

1. She looks like Bridget. Fin said so himself. And Fin didn't even see Bridget much. It was just 1/3rd of an FE4 chapter. And even then, he noticed such resemblance that he even told Eyvel in 24x

2. Eyvel felt that she had a family in the past. And unless FE4 players leave her unpaired, Bridget has two kids: Faval and Patty. In her ending, she regains her memory and reunites with her children, proving that she really did have kids.

3. How did Eyvel lose her memory? Maybe she has a tendency to forget her past? After all, Bridget lost her memory before as well.

4. If you skip Ch 24x, the dark warlord Funf in the final Chapter uses Eyvel's body. And this Funf is a Sniper. Just like Bridget. Coincidence? If you still think it is, then look at this. Funf was also in FE4 but as a MALE Sniper. It's one of the inconsistencies between FE4 and 5 but why would they make Funf female in FE5? They wanted someone to represent Eyvel? In that case, why didn't they put Neun instead? She was a female swordmaster and would be the perfect one to represent Eyvel. But no, they made Funf female and put her to represent Eyvel. This proves that Eyvel is definitely Bridget.

5. The only evidence against it is what Eyvel said: she doesn't have the symbol of Ulir. But you also have to consider that in FE4, Bridget herself didn't know she was of crusader lineage until Aideen told her. If Bridget never noticed her symbol, then it's unlikely that Eyvel would notice it too. It's probably in some spot that's usually invisible like in the back of the neck. You can't look at the back of your neck even with a single mirror and other people won't see it because her hair is blocking it.

What do you guys think?

I thought Brigid was killed then revived, and came to life at a beach or something? I recall someone posting that. She may have lost her marks during the whole revival deal.

Correction: Fin (and Leaf) spent 1-3 (can't remember) years in Fiana, so it isn't like they only met when Mareeta and Nanna were captured. >:

Either way... I say it's safe to assume that yes, she's Bridget. The disappearance of the Ulir markings is probably a side-effect of her pact with said dragons.

There are too many things going for Eyvel = Bridget for it to be a mere coincidence, just like you listed. It might even have been something like happened with Levin, like Mekkah implied.

Actually, I was referring to Fin seeing Bridget. That was only 1/3rd of an FE4 chapter. He saw Eyvel for a few years though.

Oh.

There was the entire trip to Silesia, though.

But anyway, if he didn't see her much, that only further justifies why he only talked about Evele = Bridget in 24x, and not before, I guess.

Look at FE Thracia 776's history. This is evidence that Eyvel is in fact Briggid.

(Description) Evale

A sword master and mayor of Fiana. She turns out to be a member of Sigurd's army that survived Arvis' ambush and lost her memory.

You know that's a fan article and doesn't count as evidence, right? As a matter of fact, I remember spotting a couple mistakes there...

For instance:

Please note that there is rather irritating stat leveling bug where characters continue to gain in a stat they've already maxed out (alas, you don't reap the benefits of this!) with the first version of Fire Emblem V, which was later fixed.

The only ones who gain stats when maxed are mounted knights, since their stats go down when they dismount.

Or

Celice

The son of Sigurd and Diadora and all around twerp. He must finish the war that his parents started.

The 2nd gen is another war.

Or more clearly:

Shanan

Isaac's lost king and wielder of the holy Balmnk sword. He's a powerful Sword Master, versed in Shooting Star Sword, like his older sister Ayra.

Shanan is Ayra's nephew. >:

That actually happens with some other classes in FE5. Look at Sara, gaining +1 in MGC and SKL after they were capped, for instance.
