Paperblade
According to this site, you can get up to 800BEXP on HM (1600 on Easy/Normal) for leaving Rebels alive. This looks like a fairly recent addition since I don't recall it being there the other dozen or so times I checked. Now, every unit on the map is named Rebel, but there are 4 units whose affiliation is Volunteer, while the rest of the enemies have an affiliation of Rebel. I've never actually gotten the BEXP for this before, and my usual strategy on HM is to leave the Wind Sage/Axe Armor and the 2 Soldiers near Yeardley alive (all of whom have an affiliation of Rebel) because killing them is a waste of Turn BEXP to get like 60EXP spread out across 3 units that I've always considered mediocre. However, considering the context of the chapter (villagers being convinced by Yeardley to revolt against Elincia), it makes more sense to me that the Volunteer units, who are lower leveled (12-14 vs. 18-20) and weaker and less soldierly classes (the volunteers are Myrmidons/Fighters, rather than Soldier/Armor/Mage/Archer) would be the ones being spared. So it would make more sense to me that we would be avoiding killing Neph and Brom's fellow villagers rather than killing them and leaving alive those other assholes, and it would also explain why I've never gotten the BEXP (I always kill the Volunteers since they're in my way)
VincentASM
Ah, I got the names mixed up. Yeah, it's supposed to be the Volunteers. I'll have it fixed soon. Thanks.
Paperblade
No problem. Although that makes my max BEXP run infinitely harder. D:
