Since he moved here before I was born. I never got the chance to know him, granted that he did visit several times. TheEnd Posted September 23, 2013 Share Posted September 23, 2013 I have : Maternal grandfather died as a UN Peacekeeper due to friendly fire on his plane near Damascus, Syria in 1974. Medical complications for my paternal grandmother about seven months after I was born. My maternal grandmother died of a sudden heart attack after years of diabetes, other health problems, both physical and I figure psychological. Oddly died exactly 20 years after my other grandmother. And then my paternal grandfather, who actually managed to live far longer than doctors thought he would due to a heart virus that occured around 1997 or so. Paternal grandfather died when I was little, never got to know him. Maternal grandfather slowly lost his bodily and mental functions until finally dying, on my brother's birthday no less, around 10 years ago. Paternal grandmother died at 95 or something, with dignity at least. And my maternal grandmother has a brain tumor! \o/ it made her kinda grumpy I'd be lying if I say I was.
