I think Robo was my least favorite character in Chrono Trigger. That was Marle for me, with Ayla a bit behind. In fact I almost always had him in my party. I used to use Ayra, Frog and Lucca in endgame for one simple reason. The first emulator I used, Snemul or something like that, crashed the game when Lavos used a specific attack. So, I had to take him down as fast as I could, and Frog Squash/Frog Flare/Dino Tail (or whatever they're actually called) were my best bets. I'm inclined to say I feel the same, but it's been nearly a decade since I last played CT. To be honest, same here. I didn't even bother playing the DS remake/port. I wasn't too thrilled with the soundtrack, tbh. In fact, I remember being underwhelmed by the game in general. My prejudice prevented me from being underwhelmed by it. These days it's mostly Hugo, Akuma, some Urien, some Oro, some Alex, some Ken. And Sean. Gotta love the underrated Brazilian in the bright yellow gi. Even SD3 is better than CT. Could play this soon.
