I've only tested Black's. You can't simply edit the rom and load a savestate, so you may have to start from the beginning to make it work.

I don't know if these bring any later issues, but well.

Get the HxD editor. Just find the address (leftmost numbers) through CTRL + G and highlight the bytes you see listed and then type/paste the changes.
