The first one sucks and the one near the second Bowser level is a bitch to get 100 coins. Going back to the surface always healing you also makes things a bit too easy. Me included. I don't think I had many of those instant deaths, though I know the whirlpool at the bottom can be annoying. And I thought the ghost house piano was way worse than the eel.
