Hatari, "this thread" isn't destroying your reality. Stepping out of your little world and interacting with people who aren't in your inner circle of friends is what is "destroying your reality". Icon of Sin Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Going back to Guardia Castle, T.E. and Fuuka are greeted by none other than the chancellor, who claims T.E. took his princess away. Something's definitely wrong with those chancellors. It's as if they were related... T.E. is then put on trial, where the chancellor hopes to obtain a death sentence on him. The jury voted not guilty in a score of six to one, but even then he was sentenced to "solitary confinement for three days" for running away with Fuuka. Despite the princess' loud protests, T.E. was thrown into jail. "Royalty. What bullshit!" T.E. thought when he woke up in his cell. Death would await him in three days like the chancellor ordered, so he had to escape. After annoying the guards enough, they decided to have fun with him. Bad thought for them. "If the guards are this stupid, I should commit crimes more often!" T.E. thought, but he now had to run and fast. Going to the other cells, he met strange shadows with huge shields on top of his first undead opponents. Going deeper into a treasure room, he found interesting items, only to be blocked by an immense soldier with a morning star. After dealing four blows, the soldier retreated, citing low pay as a reason, and T.E. was free to go. After some more guard slaying, he met a young man trapped in a guillotine. T.E. saved him as a fellow prisoner and the man, who was named Fritz, told him to come by the weapon shop near the castle. When opening a chest for a bronze mail, he was again attacked by undead spearmen. "Why can't they clean up those rooms of the corpses anyway? At least they're experience." T.E. thought. A little backtracking earns T.E. a new weapon, a so called lode sword. Soon after, he managed to escape from the entire prison. Lucca was there, but quickly noticed he didn't need any help at all. A document fell from the table and they read it. It was about a dragon tank, perhaps a new siege engine. "Those royals sure know how to spend our money on useless crap like this" T.E. thought. And then it apeared in front of them : the dragon tank was a machine designed to kill them. First, the healing head is destroyed. The wheels are then destroyed to prevent any more ramming attacks and then the body is finished off. T.E. makes sure it won't send any other missiles at them by stabbing it in the back. The chancellor tries to repair it with his men, but he fails and almost falls off the bridge. T.E. and Lucca decide to bolt out of the castle and quick. When they are stopped by the soldiers, princess Fuuka shows up to save them. While she is herself stopped by the king and the chancellor, she decides to quit her royal life if they don't know what common sense means. As they leave the castle into the forest, soldiers continue to run after them. A dead end shows up, but within it is a gate. Fuuka convinces Masaa to use it, even though she said she didn't know where it would take them, to which princess Fuuka just said "it sucks here lol!". Blocked by the chancellor and his men and stuck with Fuuka's irrational reasoning, T.E. had no choice but opening the gate, to the great stupefaction of the chancellor and his soldiers. As they exited the gate, they wonder where they are. The area seems to be in an advanced era of time, compared to the other gate where they went back in time. A door to the north of the room they stood in was blocked by a seal and a familiar music. "Don't tell me there's a porn stash behind all this" TE thought, but the trio decided to go outside. Outside of their shelter known as the Bangor Dome, ruins stood where life was before. Huge dome shaped buildings were scattered throughout the land. The earth was brown and void of life with its craters. The water was dark and seemed unfit to be used for drinking. The air was dense with ashes and pollution in the wind. As they protected their noses and mouth from the toxins in the air, they made their way south to the first dome, Trann. The people inside looked hungry and near death. No one knew anything about their original era. Their gold was still good enough for new equipment, like a new gun and iron vests and helms. They also talked about a dome to the northeast with food, but mutants roaming in the region could bring their deaths. A machine there was able to restore our heroes' strength, but left them hungry. They then decided to brave the mutants and go get food. Before leaving, they also noticed the same door that couldn't be opened like in the other door, but again quickly ignored it. As they entered Lab 16, they noticed rats roaming around who would love to steal items. The monsters resising there were various in shapes and sizes, ranging from living volcanic craters to man eating plants to octopi. In this area, Fuuka also learns the art to be a real tease to enemies using her sweet ass. Further into this labyrinth of junk, they meet up with strange shadows who must be harmed via magic. Strange mutants also block their path. These mutants seem to feast on human blood to gain strength too. They find Arris Dome at the end of the lab. The air is dense and the survivors are few. Their leader claims their is food under them, but zealous robots attack anyone on sight. When they decided to go down, the leader gave his blessings and wished them good luck. As they reached the storage room, a gargantuan robot showed up and attacked them. It was followed by two smaller drones, who would respawn after being destroyed. Attacking the bigger one with them around was risky, so they destroyed the small ones before going for the main course. The main robot would not be harmed by fire, but soon broke down after the repeated blows of the trio. Behind the robot was the storage room. Sadly for them, the food was rotten, but a corpse was holding seeds and a piece of paper that told them about a rat being more than just a statue. It told them about a secret passage and how to access it. Insects, rats and robots were hidden in the room and would attack them on sight, but our heroes could easily fight back. They found another switch like the one blocking the door before and pushed it, but it sadly led to a door blocked by a seal. There was another door however and they went through it. Only a computer remained. As Masaa booted it, she found where their next destination should be, which is east to Proto Dome. However, Fuuka had tu ruin everything by pressing a random button. They then learned about an event who happened in 1999, the Day of Lavos. They saw a vision of the earth being ripped apart by a spiked rock, who fired meteors into the heavens, only to have them fall back towards the land, bringing great destruction. By seeing this vision of apocalypse, Fuuka was shocked that the world would end like this, and decided that history should be changed, just like how she was saved. Both T.E. and Masaa nodded in agreement, though they didn't know how they could do it now. All they knew was that it was a stroke of luck that they learned about the imminent doom of their world. Going back to the surface, they give the seeds to the elder in exchange of a bike key which could be used to the east. Inside Lab 32, activating the bike attracted robots, including "The Man", who decides the humans can just call him Johnny. He wants them to take him on a bike race, which is easily won by T.E. "Who's The Man now, bitch?" T.E. thought when we won the race. At least Johnny was cool enough about it not to ram them down with his wheels. Going eastwards, the first building they come across is an old factory. They can't go very far inside, so they opt to go south to Proto Dome. After slaying some hostile robots, they come across a very different one who is currently inactive. Masaa decides to get to work despite Fuuka's protests that this robot could be hostile as well. The fix was a success and the robot sparked to life. He proceeded to dance around a bit, only to start speaking when asked to by Fuuka, who he called mistress. The robot was very polite when talking to the women and gave his name as R66-Y. Fuuka didn't like his serial number and instead decided to name it Pilot. For being repaired, he decided he would help his new friends access the gate behind the locked door behind him. However, T.E. had to make a choice about who would stay alone here between Fuuka and Masaa. "Choosing between a technlogical geek who knows everything about robots or an annoying princess?" he tought before pointing Masaa right away.
