He's always wanting gold rings and emeralds. He prolly frees those animals because he wants to make a fur pimp coat with them. The creators likely took a bit too much of those magic mushrooms anyway. What about Captain Motherfucking Falcon? Well, he's a pilot in a blood sport racing league where he can literally destroy any of his opponents at speeds higher than that of the speed of sound.
