I have determined that the purely maternal at that level of regression backwards from the present is the best possible person to deliver all thanks. This is not entirely a joke. Since such a person is almost certainly deceased, you can sincerely deliver thanks without doing so in vain, for your own benefit, when you speak to that which governs us, which I know for a matter of fact you are allowed to do on as regular a basis as I, and there is really no point in concealing it here. The preference for thanks owed to maternity rather than paternity is more obvious, and is somewhere on the level of aesthetics if anything. Basically you have 2 tier 1 skills, 1 tier 2, 1 tier 3, 1 tier 4 and 1 tier 5. Could be a whole lot worse. The retcon they did about the Dark Wanderer is pretty awkward though.
