The game uses a traditional text and sprite-based visual novel model with an ADV-style text box running on the Ren'Py visual novel engine. In other words, a dating sim, but with people who have disabilities. I have to give them props: that's not an idea I've heard of before. Character cuts don't feel too bad (I know I don't miss Talim or Zasalamel) game feels real fast and punishes excess defense (doesnt take long for your guard to break, guard impacts cost meter now) there's a meter now, to be spent on GIs or critical edges (flashy supers that do some chunky damage and come out really fast, but can be blocked/baited with good timing) said meter builds up fairly quickly. Didn't really experiment too much with the cast and just stuck with Leixia (Xianghua the sequel) but Viola, Z.W.E.I., and Aeon (lizardman with wings, fire breath and two axes what) all seem pretty fresh. And man Roxas you are like a month late to this KS train. But glad to see you're enjoying it and feeling them feels. Speaking of feels, after neglecting my Dark Souls PT for the better part of a week again I finally cleared Anor Londo.
