I'm positive it does increase the amount of gold in drops, but I don't think I saw anything over 1000 yet. I remembered the sad truth that Monks basically compete with DHs for gear. Therefore, cheap lv60 +vit +dex gear just doesn't exist. Which is strange when you consider some DH don't even bother with defensive bonuses. Even in Inferno I could get maybe 600 gold per enemy/pot, at best. The gold find I have is purely incidental - two of my rares happen to have +13%. I'm not so sure, since I'm already ending act 3 (just destroyed the first heart) and act 4 is rather short. I'd suggest going to all the side areas in Act 4 with some stacks of NV then for more pocket change. After all, it only vanishes after 30 minutes or after you beat Diablo.
