TheEnd
"Losing" isn't the only thing that makes RPing enjoyable. If there is a RP conflict without dice or set stats, there must be a side willing to lose somehow. Otherwise, it just becomes ridiculous. The purpose of roleplaying isn't winning. If you're going to win, don't just win, torture your victim, like we've been doing to Julius. Which is only viable because Ninji is willing to roleplay a punching bag. Dammmmn iiiiiiit... Otherwise, it just becomes ridiculous. The purpose of roleplaying isn't winning. Something becoming ridiculous isn't always a bad thing - in fact, sometimes it is a good thing, since it provides more entertainment. You could also argue that without a side willing to lose, the RP could go on for longer and entertain more.
TheEnd
I forgot to do it. Bad Azel. Eventually, the power escalation results in boredom. And the RP lasting for longer than it already is? Not really feasible.
Seph
Eventually, the power escalation results in boredom. There you go. And the RP lasting for longer than it already is? Not really feasible. It would be if we had more RPers and we were more creative, I guess.
_____
There's only a limited amount of people who'd accept arbitrarily "losing" here - like Fia and Ninji. They're what makes the whole RPing matter remotely viable/enjoyable, but they're still few. inb4Juliusmeatshield If you're going to win, don't just win, torture your victim, like we've been doing to Julius. A sore winner is the best kind of winner. Which is only viable because Ninji is willing to roleplay a punching bag. I enjoy roleplaying as a punching bag and a failure of a villain more than a stalwart hero. :x

TheEnd
There you go. Except that this "eventually" happens rather early. You're probably the only one who likes having stats at 129; I consider myself the second or third more ridiculous one here (Levin could be 2nd, I guess), and yet I stop at 60. Which reminds me, I should make a relatively honest Inflation!Arthur sheet on photoshop. It would be if we had more RPers and we were more creative, I guess. There's a limit for how much a RP without dice or properly set stats can grow. We're basically playing make-believe here, after all. inb4JuliusmeatshieldA sore winner is the best kind of winner. AND the Fonz, all at the SAME TIME.* Chainey is surprisingly high tier, although he rarely RPs anymore. _____
Ring of Maira ahoy. I still would have h4x stats. But we're not basing it on that, are we?

We're basically playing make-believe here, after all.You do have dice (RNG) and properly set stats (which are always maxed somehow). But yes, make believe. Fia
Hi~ :3 I pretty much agree.Which is why I'm going to make an inflation sheet. Which reminds me...Ares asks for his inflation stats. D: Should I start using the inflation stats too Or stick with the Tordo one?

Which reminds me, I should make a relatively honest Inflation!Arthur sheet on photoshop. Because it is rather funny. Stats aren't everything. Look at skills too. You enjoy "Luna" "Wrath" "Meteor" quite a lot, which is basically impossible to stop. There's a limit for how much a RP without dice or properly set stats can grow. We're basically playing make-believe here, after all. We're far from reaching that limit.
Rodykitty
We have a RNG on the forums?Just grab a d100 dice, or find some online dice program.Heck. Fire Emblem in general be translated into a paper and pen game somehow.
