What can be consider "evil" to our standards doesn't apply to theirs, as they function on a different scale of morality. If we see something that could pose as a threat, we wouldn't storm up to it and beat it senseless, now would we? ... At least, not at first of course. They are animals at heart, and while they are extremely intelligent beings, their sense of morals is very... basic, compared to ours. We're a bit more developed in that area than they are. It's just... humans are a bit more refined when it comes to that sort of thinking and don't rely primarily on instinct to survive and function. Their main purpose is still the basic goal to survive and reproduce, even if they are extremely bright and clever, that goal comes first and morals be damned in that case. As human beings we're held to a higher standard morally, and therefore their actions come off as unnecessarily violent and, like you said, "evil". ... ... A-Am I actually discussing the morality of DOLPHINS? Oh my gosh, Ein... I'm sorry, I'm probably boring the hell out of you, this is so unnecessary! Most animals - not just dolphins - don't have the more complex lifestyles and environments that we do - they're still wild. Technically, we could easily resort to the same behaviors if left to our own devices - we're animals ourselves, after all.
