Next best thing I tried was the Game Gear, but that had a nasty port of Sonic 2 on the SMS. Though the boss music was better. I had the Mega Drive since I was born, in '95. NoNameAtAll Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 The Game Gear was basically a portable Master System with a start button.Honesty, there weren't many games for SMS, and I don't really consider it a good console (I preferred it over the NES, though - COLORS PLEASE). The 16-bit consoles were badass, though. Actually, the Game Gear had a larger color palette. Otherwise, yes, you're right about that.
