It's just, I don't think the new features are all that bad... The updated graphics, the ease of training and breeding... it makes it worth buying. At least in my case. Also, since I didn't play gen II (why would a then 3-year-old be playing Pokémon, after all), it was a new experience for me. I liked it much better then every other Pokémon game. Except maybe LeafGreen, because it was my first Pokémon game. I better finish it, then. I only beat up to the second gym... But I don't have a GameCube, my Wii broke down a few years ago and I never bothered replacing it, and I'm not too interested in the Wii U right now... I use it in that sense, too. But context.
