No, and I find that accusation offensive.If you only use Shanan, it stops being a subs playthrough and becomes a Shanan solo. Question answered. She doesn't 100% have to use the subs, and if they can't handle the enemy, she won't. There are several parts of the game in which you can't use Shanan well (part of chapter 7, all of chapter 6). Diadora helps with her Silence staff in her available chapters, and Arden is CONSTANTLY terrible for all the chapters he is in. At least, Diadora is around for only a little amount of time. Being shit for all of the first gen <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Being shit for a small amount of the first gen Because Arden is being a much less of a bad thing than Diadora.
