Seth is around for almost the entire game. Ephraim is only around in 5x and 8 until chapter 9. Seth is around for all of those chapters Ephraim isn't in. And routes. 50% chance to go to both. Ephraim isn't around in Eirika route. A point for Seth. The main reason why Seth wins is because of availability. He's around for the entire game and he is the best character in several chapters. Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Eirika Route, Seth wins all of those. And Seth always has 9 move, which is massive, so when Ephraim promotes, the difference in usefulness between them can't compensate for the MASSIVE difference in usefulness for the chapters in which Ephraim wasn't in.
