Marthur
What books? Also the 30th is over for me already where's my challenge. A furoshiki book 1984 I see Tonton failed. oh well. Just as planned, the new challenge is Clock Tower a survival horror point and click adventure game for the SNES (you'll need the translation patch by Aeon Genesis btw) The goal of the challenge is to at least get an F rank ending. (C rank for hardmode) FAQs and guides aren't allowed except for the controls which I'll provide : [spoiler=controls] Y: Action Button : Used for walking (in the cursor's direction) and investigating. B: Panic Button : Spam this if you're in danger! A: Item Button : Opens the inventory. You can use item from it. X: Makes Jennifer stop walking or running and come to a rest. L: Run Left. R: Run Right. Save states are allowed if you want to try and change your actions to get a different ending. (There are some endings where you die, so be sure to check if you get the credits before loading a save state.) The game has a continue feature though that will take you back where you were if you die. Also you can share hints between each other as to where to look for things. Be sure to trick people into encountering things they don't want to find. Additionnaly, if you don't want to play this game, you can attempt one of the previous challenge that you have not attempted yet instead (you'll be able to do this every time). To confirm that you're participating : Just tell me the name of the game you want to play between Clock Tower / Demon's Crest / Revenge of Shinobi / The Firemen / GCCX Of course, newcomers are always welcomed. The deadline is the 16th of november. I prefer it too, but I think Super Metroid has tighter design in general. Not to say Symphony has bad design, just that Super Metroid does better.Nightmare nails it Edited October 31, 2014 by Marthur

Nightmare
A furoshiki book 1984 I see Tonton failed. oh well. FUROSHIKI O: That sounds kind of amazing. Teach me too. 1984's the classic of classics as far as dystopian novels go. I hope you enjoy it. It's kind of terrifying. Tonton failed, Makaze gave up...we'll have to make a man out of them. stuff RIGHT-O It's a good thing the deadline's set so far away. I won't be able to play for a few days after this. Which reminds me, I've been steadily progressing in Radiant Historia too. There are still like ~100 things to get in Historia but I think I'll have it beat soon enough. Nightmare nails it /me puffs up with pride As always.

Whatever you learn? In good time. For now, serve your lord well, Ranmarthuru. Yes...low blow, huh. [spoiler=rant]IT'S SO GREAT I love: - The sombre mood of the game. The soundtrack enhances this greatly. - The characters. They're all very realistic, like how you'd expect real people to be and act. - Did I mention I love the soundtrack? I love it a lot. - Artwork and graphics are hella sweet. - Rosch is a bro. - Eruca is so great. So refined, elegant and graceful... I'm on chapter 6 of Standard History right now. Something about liberating Granorg with the Gutrals...those huge spiders are a pain.

I'll need to find that video on how to tie a basic knot and untie it WHICH IS THE COOLEST THING EVER when I'm not at work. It's pretty much all you have to learn. So how do we combine them? I approve of all your points. radiant historia huh did nightmare find a waifu no knockback, no traps, no tactics, bruteforce only Seems like it. O: It's still great now I agree, I may have to stick around for this Clock Tower challenge, seems like a lot of fun. It might be a bit slow for some people today, but I agree! Should I add you to the list? It's a bit less fun if you've already played it though, so consider a challenge for a game you haven't tried too! Nightmare
Since I can only save state to find endings, does that mean I can't save to pick it back up some other time? Nah, and for the reason you said, if I were to get active in something like this, I'd want to play something new to me, but thanks all the same. I'm just here to observe who picks up Clock Tower, for now at least.
