They will have better growths than their parents guaranteed, since their groths = (whatever the parent they share their gender with) + (the other parent's growths divided by 2), but depending on who their parents are they can still be less effective than the classes they share their general combat functions with, plus the enemies are harder. Obviously Azel!Lester <<<<< Jamuka for instance. Basically, if you use recommended pairings, they'll mostly be more effective.
