TheEnd
Shi--shi--shirley??? BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. You confronted the wrong person, woman. I feel sheltered. (Only played Diablo, but not II). Diablo 1 was awesome.

Icon of Sin
I feel sheltered. (Only played Diablo, but not II). They both feel different, but both are awesome. Diablo 1 just feels more atmospheric since you're only indoors and you go through various catacombs and volcanic areas before entering hell. Colonel M
Yeah, I remember playing Diablo and thought it was awesome. Once I get that computer of mine I should buy II.

I don't like Diablo 2's death penalties and save-when-you-quit-only, though. But oh well.

The Diablo Battle Chest should be cheap as well.

And like you said before, you hope Diablo 3 goes back to its origins for those things. I can see that for singleplayer, but I doubt it's going to happen for multiplayer. Dr. Tarrasque
What to do, what to do... May I suggest to join TheEnd, Marthur in myself in playing Diablo 2? I've stopped playing Diablo 2 though. I should study. I second this. Playing it, Srs? Will in due time. FE5 and YsF first.

Saving and multiplayer don't really mix. And I mostly play single player anyway. What to do, what to do... May I suggest to join TheEnd, Marthur in myself in playing Diablo 2? Sadly, though, I do think they're going to put more emphasis on multiplayer. Times have changed for the better for some, for worse for others. If they can manage to pull it off though, then that's good for people like yourself.
Dr. Tarrasque
I see. Tried Necromancer and got bored the first time I figure I should try a class that's more active. Edited September 4, 2009 by ?!

You should love the Barbarian or the Paladin. Edited September 4, 2009 by Isabella Valentine
Rehab
The one time I was able to use a friend's copy, dove straight for Barbarian. point-click-whack
Dr. Tarrasque
I think I'll like the gameplay so long as my character isn't completely based on walking around corpse to have them rise and fight for me. Boring.

Boring. Necromancers have some offensive spells, though they're pretty lousy for the most part except in PvP ( homing, nearly unresistable damage? hell yes ). And then there's Corpse Explosion, which is massively fun.
Dr. Tarrasque
Corpse explosion was probably the only thing I liked... after that... bleh, I thougt commanding an army of skeletons to fight my battles would be more interesting >_>. TheEnd
The one time I was able to use a friend's copy, dove straight for Barbarian. point-click-whack I chose Paladin. Good Necromancers usually rely on having Bone or Poison spells as a major, with some summons ( typically a Clay Golem only, though if you can get a nice wand with skeletons, that's always cool ) for meatshields and some curses for debilitating. However, I find the Druid much better to do his job. Hurricane+Tornado destroys most enemies even in hell, Grizzlys are perfect tanks and Oak Sage is just love. I chose Paladin. Zeal on left click, Fanaticism on right click, kicking asses. Classic, with the occasionnal Vengeance for ghosts and such.

Maybe it allowed you to start the game even though the battery type was improper.
