Bone Armor, use it. A decent necromancer I used in the past ( back in 1.10 ): Max Bone Spirit Max Bone Spear Max Teeth Max Bone Wall Do NOT touch Bone Prison. Marrowwalk gives a level 33 synergy. 1 in Decrepify and its synergies. Dim Vision might be good as well if you can't stand long range attacks ( I take them like a man, though ) 1 in most summons except Fire Golem Rest in Skeleton Mastery This gives you decently strong meat shields ( use Clay Golem unless you're rich enough to sacrifice good items for an Iron Golem ) and potent magic attacks, but as a whole the Necromancer is just unimpressive. If you want a PvM caster, Hammerdin, Wind Druids, Trapsins or dual Sorcs is the best way to go. Meteorb is IMO a very good starter to get items.
