Instead of catching a placeholder Growlithe (FIRE STONES WHERE), I could have gotten a Dratini already. But at least... 1) Gambling without savestates is annoying as fuck; 2) I've always wanted to use a non-starter fire pokémon like Growlithe, Vulpix or Ponyta. ... but that doesn't change the fact that I'm really itching to restart, now.
