Make sure to charge your hammer before actually mining, you have a better chance of actually finding something good. You cannot find or obtain Sweetie Potatoes in 1st Gen unless it was gifted to you. Four-Leaf Clovers for a request is in the fourway intersection in Blessia Island, you just have to look around. Besides the request, you cannot grow/obtain/find them.
