Although the manga is superior, it's pretty much 50/50 between character development and football(sorta, sometimes it happens simultaneously) Hockey is better for the most part. <-Only watches College Football to begin with... Eyeshield is all about College Football... Yes I am. I'll just take a wild guess and say that it's a turn-off because it's the most popular sport 'round there?
