BEST TRYNDAMERE PLAYER
UrT Joey? Alright.
Dr. Tarrasque
Not necessarily. Cyndaquil has good Special Attack and Speed. Naughty boosts Attack and reduces Special Defense. MageKnight Cyndaquil Meh, I'll ignore nature unless it's harmful to their primary attack stat.
Colonel M
@CM: Pick Cyndaquil and don't use Ubers. Come on the efficiency... ...And Brave Bird is so secks. :/ Okay I'll take Cyndaquil because screw Chikorita.
Icon of Sin
Come on the efficiency... ...And Brave Bird is so secks. :/ Okay I'll take Cyndaquil because screw Chikorita. You get Bellsprout/Hoppip early anyway for Grass types, and Wooper for Water. Fire doesn't come until Growlithe/Vulpix and Magmar just behind, which is pretty much why I pick Cyndaquil. :/ Edited March 12, 2010 by BsTrD
Colonel M
Eh, Magmar isn't total shit IIRC. Cyndaquil is pretty awesome with getting Fire Blast early on though.

James Bond
This is the FE4 Pokemon Thread
Dracohon
I've played three Pokemon games in my life: Diamond, for a very short time, and Emerald for a little longer. The only one I really played was Crystal. I don't know why, since I like them. :(
James Bond
you haven't tried any of the 4th gen games? Edited March 12, 2010 by Sask
Dracohon
No unfortunately. Which ones are there now?
Dracohon
Wait, weren't Diamond and Pearl 4th gen?
James Bond
Exactly now there is also platinum Edited March 12, 2010 by Sask
Dracohon
Well, I played Diamond, but I think only for a few hours total. I should really pick it up again.
James Bond
probably, it seems like what you have to do in general with pokemon games is to let the two first versions of the new gen to come out and then buy the third which has more extras
Dracohon
lol, yeah. Although I should really play Emerald some more, too. I want to unlock the time capsule transfers, so I can get my Pokemon out of crystal before the battery dies.
James Bond
time capsule transfers?
Dracohon
The thing where you can transfer between different generations of games.
James Bond
Um...yes, well unfortunately you can't transfer between 2nd gen and 3rd gen games... :(
Dracohon
Oh! Well that sucks...
James Bond
That's why they released Firered and Leafgreen... Edited March 12, 2010 by Sask
Dracohon
Ah! I kind of wondered why those games were made.
James Bond
Yes the remakes were for this reason...
TheEnd
Eh, Magmar isn't total shit IIRC. You can only get it halfway through Johto, though. That's his point. Cyndaquil is pretty awesome with getting Fire Blast early on though. Flamethrower > Fire Blast You get Bellsprout/Hoppip early anyway for Grass types You mean Mareep for electric types. I know this is troublesome against Woopers.
James Bond
Flamethrower > Fire Blast totally agreed, better to have a strong attack that's sure to hit than having a powerful attack praying that it will hit the target (and with many more uses) Edited March 12, 2010 by Sask
