Even though two of my Pokemons had STAB moves that Steelix was weak to, it just didn't want to fall. Pryce was always easy though. Clair, on the other hand... Even though two of my Pokemons had STAB moves that Steelix was weak to, it just didn't want to fall. That Steelix has Rock Slide though. Magmar and Mantine are pretty damn horrible against that. I used a Lapras with Ice Beam. No real problems aside that I had to use an Hyper Potion. I know I used Water types back then to battle it, but usually it was either Feraligatr if it was my starter, otherwise I had a Quagsire.
