Icon of Sin
Also, I was considering removing Heracross' Shadow Claw in favor of Night Slash. Then I looked them up and discovered they're the same thing. Except if I'm going to fight a Girafarig. And we all know how common those are in the first place. Besides, Megahorn exists.

Icon of Sin
I need a fire type and Magcargo fit the bill. o: It's probably the worst Fire type ever. Get a Houndoom or an Arcanine maybe. If you can, at least Blaziken, Infernape or Heatran.

TheEnd
Altogether her types are good enough that she isn't weak to too many. And I felt like it. By that logic, what she needs is a team of steel-types. Keep the egg. Slugma might be useful to make your eggs hatch twice as fast. And that's why I regret not being able to catch a Magmar. The Envoy of the Beginning
Wow. I have an easier time with Kriad, despite sharing the "high contact damage" attribute that Spore Spawn and Botwoon had.

Icon of Sin
By that logic, what she needs is a team of steel-types. It's pretty good. I also have a Sandstorm team consisting mostly of Steel types as well, and so far it does very well.

Indeed, Steel is amazing defensively. But it's far from being the only viable option.
Icon of Sin
Indeed, Steel is amazing defensively. But it's far from being the only viable option. True. Besides if you make a Steel only team like I do, it's much better to work around second types to at least lower the main counters. For example, Heatran for Fire, Skarmory for Ground and Metagross for Fighting.
