Oh pfft, fuck this shit. The focus has shifted so hard onto graphics and neat new features that good old plot, character development, and all that other good stuff has nearly been forgotten in many cases. I still play my PS2 more than my PS3.

Somewhat though not as much/Adequate

Some games are OK, and I play them slow because most never get their hooks into me.

It depends way too much to put blanket statements on for me, but generally less time invested/less interest. As soon as I finish typing this some shiny new thing will grab my attention. I spend a lot of time on gaming still because I'm 16 and like that, but it's less often something brand new than an old/previous gen favorite.

I only have a Wii for this latest batch of consoles, and it's only good for Brawl, FE, and some other one-off titles. This entire generation is kinda unimpressive on the whole, especially compared with the last few years. My PS2 and the Wii's GC function see alot more action. Handhelds are doing good though, and the PC is basically immune to staleness.

Entertaining

Somewhat

Lenght

"lets just make this game about graphics and make them buy it because of that, we don't need to worry about nothing else" That ends in a very crappy easy 2-hour game

My only complaint is that Single player is being shelved for Multiplayer. I don't mind Multiplayer only games like Team Fortress 2 but developers try putting in bullshit excuses on why games like Sins of a Solar Empire don't have single player story mode when the real reason is simply money.

It doesn't have to be long, Call of Duty 4's single player mode was about 5 hours long and it was fucking amazing.
