Thracia 776 and Shadow Dragon, because they have lots of content that actually add substance to the core FE gameplay.

I voted for Shadow Dragon though because it's the more underappreciated one of the two in the non-Japanese fandom.

I wonder why people pick 776 because of diffuculty but dont do the same for fe ds

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I actually kind of like FE9 the best. I felt it had the best combination of memorable characters, entertaining support convos, gameplay, and general polish of the game's UI and features. It's the whole package.

FE10 might have been better, but the plot was a bit convoluted (constantly switching out characters), support convos got axed, and third tier class skills broke the game by insta-gibbing whatever they hit.
