He was killed by Mario Teraz. Teraz ironically benefits much from the reforms that Che influenced, to be more specific eye doctors. Che, although swore never to be taken alive, he surrendered himself saying "I'm worth more to you alive then dead." He was a saint to some and a devil to others.
