Welcome back, Rhythm!

How are you doing?

Proto! :awesome: I'm doing great, as always. How are you?

It's a proof-based math test. We are covering set theory, relations, and the beginnings of functions.

(It's more difficult than it sounds)

We did that, but I'm not sure what proof-based means. :)

Hi Haru.

It means that instead of learning all of the stuff, we actually have to prove the theorems and stuff. For example, we have to prove that the composition of two functions is itself another function.

I'm doing great. I'm always good whenever you're around.

You have to prove different theories, I'm guessing?

Groudon > Kyogre

Where's Iced?

Gameplay-wise, Kyogre wins because it has a better special STAB (Water Spout) than Groudon's physical STAB (Earthquake). In terms of awesomeness, Groudon wins. Just look at his picture and there will be no doubt.

School, most probably

Eruption.

Lacks STAB and Groudon's base SpA is 100 as opposed to Kyogre's 150. Groudon should focus more on his physical side with his base 150 Atk.

Lol, I've used Dratini so many times it isn't funny. Still love it though. :)

Dratini, discuss.

Failure of a dragon. The only ones worse than it are Swablu and Bagon. Swablu puts shame to all Dragon types and Altaria doesn't even look like a dragon. Bagon is cooler than Dratini but it evolves into a soccer ball and then into a stupid dragon, so Dratini wins.

Nah, if you don't feel like stopping with the Pokemon talk, I'll continue.

Or you can... you know... go to the POKEMON subforum??? What a shocking idea!!

Nope.

Speaking of Pokemon, I decided that I'll play Heart Gold over Soul Silver. As awesome as the early Lugia is, I don't want to miss Arcanine, Gligar, Mantine, and Latias. Besides, unlike the original Gold, the Lugia will have Aeroblast when I DO finally get it in Whirl Islands.

Speaking of Pokemon,

Or not. Can't we talk about something else for 30 minutes or so?

Then I'll be asleep and you can discuss whatever you want until I wake up...
